Description: Three issues (nos. 28–30) of the French erotic trimestrial Fascination: Le musée secret de l’érotisme. Original pictorial wrappers, colour-printed throughout; 270 × 210 mm. Each issue comprises 50 pp. within the wrappers; lavishly illustrated in black-and-white and colour throughout. Contents include essays, bibliographical surveys, and historical and critical texts devoted to erotic literature, prints, drawings, photography, cinema, and objects.
These three individual issues correspond to the final tranche of the periodical and form, together with the earlier bound Collection / Album volumes (containing issues nos. 1–27), a complete run of the publication. It is reasonable to assume that the publisher initially printed and distributed the issues individually; unsold copies were subsequently trimmed (to approx. 264 × 203 mm), bound in groups of three under a collective wrapper, and redistributed as Collection / Album volumes; see LIB-3531.2026.
