Red cloth portfolio 313 x 250 mm, with gilt lettering in frame to front, contains an in-folio brochure (4 sheets folded in-half), unbound, pp. [2] 3-15 [1], plus 24 leaves of loose plates 300 x 239 mm; title page, full-length photo portrait of Pilotell by Charles Reutlinger (German-French, 1816 – 1881), autograph of the former, and a copy of his birth certificate. Printed by l’Imprimerie Union in Paris in 1970 (2nd edition).
