Title: Standing Portrait of a Young Man Holding Chrysanthemum Flowers (Kiku o motsu wakamono no zenzu, 菊を持つ若者の全図)
A full-length standing portrait of a young man holding a long stem of chrysanthemum blossoms (菊, kiku), depicted in three-quarter view, facing slightly to his right.
He wears a softly draped kimono with minimal patterning, conveying a sense of quiet elegance. His hair is styled in a topknot (髷, mage), and his feet are fitted with black-lacquered two-tooth wooden clogs (二枚歯下駄, nimaiba geta).
This impression belongs to the wide hashira-e format, slightly broader than the standard pillar print, and is extremely rare. No published references have been identified to date.
