Karl I. Trübner (Strasbourg, publisher, 1872–1918)

Founded by Karl Ignaz Trübner (1846–1907) in 1872. The firm retained his name posthumously until 1918. Following World War I, Strasbourg reverted to French control, and in 1919, the company's assets were integrated into Walter de Gruyter, now operating as De Gruyter Brill.
