A. Porcabeuf et Cie [Atelier A. Porcabeuf] (Paris, printer, fl. 1895–1946)

A prestigious Parisian intaglio printing house located at Rue Marie-Stuart and later Rue de la Goutte-d'Or. Originally founded by master copperplate printer Auguste Porcabeuf (1835–1895), the studio was inherited and elevated by his son, Alfred Louis Porcabeuf (1867–1952), who reorganized it into A. Porcabeuf et Cie. The company established an international reputation for supreme craftsmanship in gravure, etching, and colour chalcography, executing complex artistic plates for elite French bibliophile societies and luxury art editions. Operating continuously across two world wars, the master atelier closed following Alfred Porcabeuf's retirement in the post-WWII era.
