Hale, Terry (English, b. 1957)

Terry Hale is a translator and academic born in Lincolnshire. He studied law at Nottingham Law School, applied linguistics at the University of Wales, and French literature at the University of Liverpool. His interest in literary translation developed during the mid-1980s while teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in British and American law within a degree programme at a French university.
