Text printed on cream laid paper with “CURTIS RAG” watermark. Collation: 14 leaves (28 pp.), unpaginated, excluding wrappers. One full-page illustration — a chart titled “A chart showing the percentage of excellence in the physical properties of books published since 1910.” The paper, a high-quality rag paper made wholly or largely from cotton fibres and bearing the CURTIS RAG watermark, was likely produced at the Curtis Paper Mill in Newark, Delaware, operated by the Curtis Paper Company.
