Note: Issued loose in the publisher’s illustrated suede-covered folder with flaps, housed in a slipcase. Rare erotic suite of 28 plates, executed in India ink with brush, pen, and bamboo reed. The drawings were made in Paris in 1912 and in Marseille in 1916 (Vieux-Port, quai de Rive-Neuve, in the studio of Monfort). Edition of 100 numbered copies on Arches vellum, reserved for members of the society, plus 20 artist’s copies.
