Privately printed by Gustav Röttig & Sohn (Ödenburg) in 800 copies, of which this is copy № 16, signed by von Bayros in 1st vol. Each volume is illustrated with four heliogravures (title-page and three plates) after drawings by Franz von Bayros. According to the seller, this is one of only 35 copies of the deluxe edition on Japanpapier, a fact which was mentioned by the bibliographers but not in the imprint. Bookplate to front pastedown in each volume, lettering to bottom “Ex libris Dr. phil. Rudolf Ludwig”, 120 x 100 mm, heliogravure after von Bayros.
