Taira no Tadanori [平忠度] (Japanese, military commander and poet, 1144–1184)

Warrior and waka poet of the late Heian period (平安時代, 794–1185); youngest brother of Taira no Kiyomori (平清盛, 1118–1181); student of the court poet Fujiwara no Shunzei (藤原俊成, 1114–1204). Killed at the Battle of Ichinotani (1184) during the Genpei War (源平合戦, 1180–1185).
