Bust portrait of William IV Charles Henry Friso, Prince of Orange and Nassau (1711–1751), slightly turned to the left, gazing directly at the viewer. He wears classical armour with the insignia of the Order of the Garter, a broad sash, and a powdered wig. The portrait is enclosed within an inscribed oval medallion frame, set against a stone wall. In the foreground are a helmet, sword, Dutch flag, and a coat of arms, positioned around the base of the pedestal. This engraving reproduces a portrait after the painting by Jacques-André-Joseph Aved, held in the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam (inv. no. SK-A-880).
