The portrait derives from a design by Michel Lasne, reinterpreted by Arnout Loemans, and was issued as part of the engraved portrait series illustrating Cornelis de Bie’s Het Gulden Cabinet vande Edel Vry Schilder-Const (Antwerp: Jan Meyssens, 1661).
👉 In my copy of Het Gulden Cabinet — the 1662 edition printed by Juliane van Monfort [LIB-2677.2021] — the portrait appears opposite p. 522, which contains a Dutch poem in praise of Callot.
